Training Training in the use of Openlaw costs £700 per half day. Is training necessary? There is a context sensitive electronic manual covering all the main functions. A user or administrator who is computer-literate and willing to use the manual and to experiment can expect to get to grips with at least the primary functions of Openlaw without training. In practice, however, users find the fast injection of skills and ideas from a training session an invaluable jump-start. They can be up and running with the main functions on Day 1 and will know what other functions exist for when they need them. Training is therefore not strictly necessary, but it is extremely helpful and should save more than it costs very quickly. What options are there? · training may be in small groups or one-to-one · there are four levels o the basic operation of the primary functions o the more sophisticated functions o administrator training o training in specific add-ons
· training may be case-specific i.e. using a copy of the actual Case data · there are separate courses for fee earners and secretarial staff if required · we can do train-the-trainer courses to provide an on-site expert · combine training with a support contract
