Site Licence – Annual Rental Licence

An Annual Openlaw Site Licence allows you any number of new Cases of up to the permitted capacity, each year. Annual rentals are payable in advance and annual licences are automatically renewable unless we are given at least three month’s notice of the intention not to renew.  Support is charged at 20% p.a.

Site Licence – One-off Perpetual Licence

For any site licence, you can make a single once-off payment of three times the annual rental which will give you a perpetual or 'lifetime' licence for your site for that capacity of documents.   Support is charged annually, on the annual rental price.

External users

For all site licences, licences for external members of your team such as the client, counsel and experts are free.

Notes:

*     Any member of your staff based at the licensed office(s) may work on the case as may any external members of a team for which you are actively involved, usually as the lawyers with the primary conduct of the case, for purposes ancillary to your own use.

*      Additional offices by negotiation either singly or by a world-wide offices extension

*     If your firm or office is quite small, we may be able to reduce these prices - which are designed for larger firms - alternatively consider our named user prices

*     If you need the occasional ability to run a case of a larger capacity, simply buy a case licence for the extra capacity needed for that case.

*      You may move up to the next capacity level for a Site Licence by increasing the payments to the next level.

Support and updates

Support covers the right to upgrades as they are released and telephone support.  For a perpetual or lifetime licence, annual support (including updates) is charged at 20% of the annual rental per annum.  For annual or quarterly licences, it is charged at 20% of the rental rates.

Support is telephone support for up to three main contacts.  For direct end-user support for larger numbers of users, an additional charge is made of £100 per user per annum.
