Openlaw Barcoding

Our barcode separator and coding sheets can speed up and simplify the process of loading paper documents into Openlaw, and provide the option to add some coding at the same time. 

Take a file of documents, separate each document with a barcode sheet, scan the complete file to one multi-page TIF file (most print  rooms can do this for you) and then run our Openlaw Barcode Reader software to split up the scanned file and put the images of each document into your Openlaw case.  New documents can be added in this way at any time.

Each document will be loaded into Openlaw as a separate document image.

This way you make the decision where each document begins and ends (which can be important with enclosures etc).

All the work can be done in-house, maintaining full confidentiality.

There are two complementary software modules:

Openlaw Barcode Printer – prints barcode separator sheets and coding sheets which can be read by Openlaw Barcode Reader.  This software is licensed free to all Openlaw users.

Openlaw Barcode Reader – reads barcode separator sheets and coding sheets printed by Openlaw Barcode Printer.
