Annotation Settings

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

This is a tool which allows you to place printed annotations (such as page numbers) onto a tiff image and to size them as you wish. It is relevant to the options to Print Image Bundles and to Print Paginated Bundles.

The function to do this is found on the Settings sub-menu of the Control Panel Case Menu.

Use the button <Select a Tiff file> to open any image. This will look in your default Images folder but you can navigate elsewhere if you have no images in that folder.

An editing box appears over the image, by default at the bottom right corner (unless you have already used this function to move the annotation somewhere else). At bottom left of the screen are navigation arrows. Click on these to move the box by single steps, or use the slider in the middle of the arrows to move in larger jumps. The slider points up and down, or left and right, depending on which arrow you last used.

This allows you to put the box at the point on the image where you want annotations to be printed. If you move the box to the bottom left, then that is where Openlaw's image print functions will place e.g. page numbering.

You can also change the font in which the page numbering will be printed. When you have finished, press <Save> to fix the placement of annotations.
