ImageSets

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

At its simplest, an Image Set is a name given to a collection of image files at a particular location or set of locations.

Image Set names can be descriptive - the Annotated Images; the Redacted Images; the PDF images etc

An Image Set is therefore a group of images.  The location(s) of the images are defined by the Image Set Locations for that Image Set (ie a drive and directory path) and a user alias (a name which is meaningful to users). The Image Set name might be "Annotated Images" and the Locations might be 'Annotated TIFs' - where the directory might be x:\Apps\Openlaw\Images\MyCase\AnnotatedTIFs\  and 'Annotated PDFs' - where the directory might be x:\Apps\Openlaw\Images\MyCase\AnnotatedPDFs\. Once these names have been defined, the user need know nothing about the directories.
