The Demo Case is a small case with 80 Items. Some Bundles have been pre-saved.
The first few Items have TIF images although there is also a set of PDF images you can use if you prefer.
Some of the later Items are there to demonstrate the ability to display other types of file, such as e-mails, Word documents etc and some Items are there to demonstrate how MetaData can be held about Items as well.
The first screen you see on running the Demo is this:

The information on the screen comes from the licence file.
The next screen asks for your user name which is used to track some of your actions in the case.

If this is the first time you have run the demo you may get this message:

In this case all Items will be put into a default Bundle for you.
Now you get to what is called the Control Panel

The Blue bar at the top tells you the name of the application.
The grey area below tells you the name of your Case.
The recessed grey box tells you that the name of your Current Selection or working set of Items is 'Demouser - default' - i.e. the default selection for the name you logged in as.
The yellow bar tells you that the Case has 80 Items.
The green bar tells you that your Current Selection from the Case is also 80 Items.
The large button with binoculars is for searching - to make a new Selection
The four large buttons below the green bar enable you to:
| • | Go to the Bundles screen (and , for example, load a different selection) |
The final button is for when you want to Exit.
Try viewing first, then follow the steps set out there.
