The Search or Query Menu
There are several Query types, allowing you to focus on aspects of the Case which are relevant to you. The one you last picked becomes the default Query and is invoked when you next press the Control Panel button <Make a new Selection>.
The Query Types
Search using just the key fields needed to find Items by their primary tags |

Find Items by the Names of those involved - an Alias is the name by which a person or organisation is generally known regardless of the full (and often variable) name used in the Item Cards |

Search by using the 44 Yes/No check boxes on the Categories Tab and/or by the In List, Privileged and Review check boxes |
|
Search for Items with a particular parent or child Item link (e.g. all parent attachments, or all Equiset pivots) |

Search by the conformed words or phrases which can be dropped into the Notes field |
|
Search by the conformed words or phrases which can be dropped into the Site Comments field |
|
Search by any word in any text field or by the conformed words or phrases which can be dropped into the Text field |
|
Allows you to search for any phrase or value in any field and to sort the results into any order |
|
Allows searching of Metadata information |
