The Case Menu on the Control Panel has functions and settings which affect the Case as a whole rather than to a Selection from the Case.
Backup A means of making a copy of key files without leaving Openlaw
Compact A tool for reducing the size of databases and making indexes more efficient
Exclusive Switch Allows a user to take Exclusive Use of the Case, to ensure that no-one else is logged in; this is required for the use of certain functions
Settings

User Changeable Settings alter certain defaults only for the user who changes them.
Note that you can set up default settings for all new users of a new case by logging in as DEFAULTUSER, setting the settings, and exiting
Annotation Settings affect the placement of e.g. page numbers on printed image pages.
Settings / User-Defined Lists

User-Defined Lists are the pick-lists which are available to users both to drop coding into Items and to define Queries. They are empty or have default values in a new Case.
Settings / User-Defined Lists / Pick Lists

Pick Lists are user-defined lists of words relevant to particular fields. Users can be forced to choose from a closed list of options so that data entry is controlled.
GoTo Page

Paginated Bundles identify each page by a number. The option GoTo Paginated Page allows you to find Bundle pages from multiple Bundles by their number.
GoTo Page allows you to jump to an image page within a Selection.
Both these functions work only where the entire image population consists of .tif images. Distinguish between these page-based jumping options and the options to jump to particular Items found on the GoTo Item Menu on the Item Card Menu.
